This close-up and personal tour starts with a guided wine tasting of the local wines at La Petite Cave and a mini-walking tour of the hidden treasures created by South African visionary entrepreneur, Leslie Kellen, and his wife, the German artist, Clarissa:

La Cave Wine Bar & Store
This 1700s building not only has an original well of the old city, but it houses the best selection of local wines as well as all of Bordeaux and the rest of France, handpicked by Les, our legend.
Etalon Rouge Winery
This vineyard is about 4km outside of Blaye and was previously owned by Gerard Depardieu.
L'Ecurie Studio & Vintage Car Studio
This 1690 ex stable of the Duke St Simon, the governor of Blaye, has been transformed into an artist’s paradise and you will get to see some original 2CV’s and a vintage Porsche.
Villa St Simon Guesthouse
This 1850 beauty was originally a “Maison de Maitre” and has been transformed into an eclectic guest house with rooms facing the Gironde river.
